म राजनीतिमा आउनुअघि त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयमा उपप्राध्यापक थिएँ। मैले North Carolina A & T State University, USA को सहकार्यमा त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय Institute of Science and Technology बाट विद्यावारिधिसम्मको अध्ययन पूरा गरेको छु। मैले ४० भन्दा बढी देशहरूमा शैक्षिक भ्रमण र अनुसन्धानको अनुभव हासिल गरेको छु। म वर्तमान विश्वमा उदयीमान प्रविधिसँग सचेत छु साथै नेपालको विकासको लागि त्यस्ता प्रविधि भित्र्याउन पर्छ भन्ने विचारको समर्थक हुँ। मैले एक दशकभन्दा बढी नेपालमा नसर्ने रोग विरुद्धका विभिन्न अभियानका साथै नीति निर्माणका लागि दबाब र योगदान पुर्‍याएको छु। त्यस्तै शिक्षा क्षेत्रको विकासका लागि पनि मैले विभिन्न स्थानीय तहसँग मिलेर कार्य गरेको छु।
